Fantastic Noise

Station Sound (featuring Absolute Radio’s Dan Prior)

October 2, 2018

This episode takes a closer look at 'Station Sound' and imaging - such as radio idents, trailers and sponsored promos. Joining Terry in the studio is co-host James Montague, a Media Production student at the University.

They hear from; University of Bedfordshire alumnus Dan Prior, who is now the Station Sound producer for Absolute Radio. And BBC Radio Norfolk's Deborah Bishop. We'll also hear from Dr Lawrie Hallett, Senior Lecturer in Radio and Journalism, in his radio surgery. And do some jargon busting with our 'radio word of the week'.

Fantastic Noise is a podcast about making radio. Recorded in the Radio LaB 97.1FM studios at the University of Bedfordshire. Produced and presented by Terry Lee.
