Tuesday Aug 07, 2018

This episode tackles the near-philosophical question of how we define radio. Joining Terry is co-host Jack Wilson who has just graduated with a first-class degree in Journalism from the University.
They hear from; Managing Editor of Radio X and Global TV - Matt Deverson (https://www.radiox.co.uk), Radio Futurologist James Cridland (james.cridland.net), & Dr Janey Gordon - Principal Lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire (beds.ac.uk/howtoapply/departments/culture-and-communications/staff/janey-gordon).
We'll also hear from Dr Lawrie Hallett, Senior Lecturer in Radio and Journalism (beds.ac.uk/howtoapply/departments/culture-and-communications/staff/lawrie-hallett), in his radio surgery. And do some jargon busting with our 'radio word of the week'.
